1. Overview
mklogo ("the Service") is an AI-powered logo generation tool. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use the Service. We are committed to transparency about our data practices, which are intentionally minimal.
2. Information We Collect
The Service is designed to operate with minimal data collection. We do not require account creation and do not collect personal information beyond what is strictly necessary to process your requests.
Information You Provide
- Text prompts: The descriptions you enter to generate logos. These are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers after generation is complete.
Automatically Collected Information
- Standard server logs: Our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect standard web server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and request timestamps as part of normal infrastructure operations.
3. How We Process Your Data
When you submit a prompt, it is processed through the following third-party AI services to generate your logo:
- Anthropic (Claude): Your prompt is sent to Anthropic's API for expansion into a detailed visual description and for AI-assisted SVG quality analysis. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
- Google (Imagen): The expanded prompt is sent to Google's Imagen API to generate the logo image. See Google's Privacy Policy.
These third-party services process your data according to their own privacy policies and terms of service. We encourage you to review their policies for details on how they handle data.
4. Data Storage
We do not store your prompts, generated images, SVG files, branding bundles, or any other content you create through the Service.
All generated content is delivered directly to your browser and exists only on your device. Once the generation process is complete, we retain no copy of your inputs or outputs. If you close your browser or navigate away, the generated content is gone from our systems entirely.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your information to third parties. The only data sharing that occurs is the transmission of your prompts to the AI service providers listed in Section 3, which is necessary to provide the Service.
6. Data Not Used for Training
We do not use your prompts or generated content to train any AI models. Regarding the third-party AI providers: Anthropic and Google have their own policies regarding API data usage. As of the effective date of this policy, both providers state that API inputs are not used for model training by default, but we encourage you to review their current policies directly.
7. Cookies and Tracking
The Service may use essential cookies required for basic functionality. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect anonymous analytics data as part of their platform services.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. Your Rights
Because we do not store your data, most traditional data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) are satisfied by default — there is simply no data to access, delete, or port. If you have questions about data that may be held by our third-party providers, please refer to their respective privacy policies.
10. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission between your browser, our servers, and third-party AI services.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be indicated by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
